Directly south of Houston along the SH 288 corridor, and one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas over the last three decades. Mostly Brazoria County, with a northern edge reaching into Harris.

South of Pearland in rural Brazoria County, still comparatively small-town and surrounded by working acreage.

The largest city in Galveston County, between Houston and Galveston on Clear Creek and Clear Lake. A bay-side commuter city with a strong NASA and aerospace population.

Between Pearland and League City, straddling the Galveston and Harris county line. Founded as a Quaker settlement in 1895 and still noticeably quieter and more wooded than its neighbors.

Montgomery is where this business started and the birthplace of the Texas flag. It's a small historic downtown surrounded by some of the most desirable lakefront and golf-course property in the county.

The Montgomery County seat and one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. Conroe covers everything from a walkable historic downtown to brand-new master-planned subdivisions along the I-45 corridor.

A master-planned community begun in 1974 and now one of the highest-income places in Texas. Nine villages, mature tree canopy, and a residential covenant structure that governs a lot of what happens to a house.

Just north of Conroe on the east side of Lake Conroe. Willis has stayed comparatively affordable while the rest of the county has run up, which keeps a lot of first-time buyers and retirees moving in.

West Montgomery County, along FM 1488 and FM 1774. Magnolia has gone from rural crossroads to one of the busiest growth corridors in the region while keeping large-lot and acreage property in the mix.
